Fairway Inn Wedding

Fairway Inn Wedding

My first wedding of 2016 took me on a tour of Sheffield.  We started out at Le-ann’s parent’s house in the morning and everything was calm and peaceful.  Then of course the car arrived.   I got my ‘bride leaving’ photos as usual and then jumped into the car for the standard ‘race the bride’ into Sheffield city centre to catch here arriving at the Sheffield Town Hall.

For the first time ever I got one of the prime spots right outside the Town Hall, which was a light relief considering it was chucking it down with rain.  Another stroke of luck saw it stop raining just as Le-ann arrived and held off long enough to get indoors before the heaven’s opened once more.

What followed was a beautiful ceremony, made actually more romantic by the battering of rain going on outside.

We were once again blessed as the torrential rain stopped long enough for us to get our wedding party group photos outside the Sheffield Town Hall and get into our cars.

The final stop on our tour found us at the Fairway Inn in Birley Wood, Sheffield, where we were looked after admirably by the staff.  A few breaks in the rain saw us heading outside for a couple of snaps before the rain decided it was time for the grand finale, more rain.

Anyway, the rain didn’t stop the fun, it was a lovely day and a very enjoyable evening.
