Losehill House Hotel, Peak District Wedding :: Eleanor & Huw

I love a nice chilled out wedding.

Don’t get me wrong, there is something special about high energy weddings too, but every now and again it’s great to change pace and take it as it comes.

Eleanor and Huw chose to get married in the stunning setting of Losehill House in the Peak District National Park.  If you aren’t familiar, this is somewhat off the beaten track.   You’re looking at narrow approach roads and deep valleys.  Very tranquil and exactly what they were looking for.

For my part, the staff were very attentive and professional, and I got to experience the fantastic classic English countryside cuisine first hand.

A highly recommended wedding venue, as I’m sure the photos will attest.

To be honest, I’m probably not the right photographer for you.

Ringwood Hall Hotel Wedding – Amy & Richard

I know you’re not really supposed to mix business with pleasure, but when you get a chance to be the official photographer for your good friends’ wedding, why not break the rules.

Amy & Richard’s Ringwood Hall Wedding was the first time I had attended a wedding as both photographer and guest since Alex & Miranda’s wedding all the way back in 2013.

It was also my first time at Ringwood Hall which is a beautiful and charming venue, with really very helpful and friendly staff, not to mention beautiful scenery.

All of which you can appreciate by having a look through the gallery of highlights below 🙂

To be honest, I’m probably not the right photographer for you.

  • Padley Gorge Engagement Photo Shoot

    Padley Gorge Engagement Photo Shoot

Victoria and Kelso are getting married next May with your truly going along as their official photographer for the proceedings.  At this point I am going to stay cool whilst I nonchalantly mention that the wedding will be in Italy, to say I am looking forward to that is a huge understatement.

To help them keep their cool on the day we got together in Padley Gorge for an engagement photo shoot so that they could get used to having me follow them around taking their photo.

They also brought along a little friend who sadly won’t be able to join them on the wedding day.

If you’re looking for a good reason why you would want an engagement shoot have a look at why Aimee (a former Bride of mine) would 100% recommend one:

Why I 100% would recommend an Engagement Shoot
