The first time I met with Anna and Steve prior to them booking me as their wedding photographer it was at The Red Lion, Todwick. When it came to arranging their pre-wedding engagement photo shoot we thought we may as well meet there again. In retrospect I’m not sure what we had in mind planning a photo shoot on the embankment of the A57 near J31 of the M1 motorway.
Having said that, right next to the Red Lion is the old A57 which is starting to get overgrown which actually gave us a few interesting locations. Add to that a few Star Wars Force lift impressions and we managed to squeeze in a successful photo shoot.
In a stroke of random luck, it started raining the minute I sat in my car after the shoot.
